Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Imma Bag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Ulriksen!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bag throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ulriksen throws a head kick but Bag moves out of range.
Bag waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ulriksen.
Ulriksen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bag is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ulriksen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bag was well out of range. Poor timing from Ulriksen.
Ulriksen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bag but Bag pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ulriksen takes one on the button.
Bag scores with a spinning back kick!
Bag scores with a decent looking hook.
A punch combination from Bag misses.
Bag lands with a shot to the body.
Ulriksen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bag looks to clinch
enabling Ulriksen to counter with a crisp jab.
Bag swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ulriksen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ulriksen shoots in and bounces Bag off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ulriksen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bag works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ulriksen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bag manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ulriksen has Bag in his guard.
Ulriksen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bag defends it easily.
Ulriksen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bag has his hands clasped together but Ulriksen extends and breaks Bag's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ulriksen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Victor Ulriksen!
