The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeus shoots in for a takedown but Knife shows good takedown defense.
Knife tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zeus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Christopher Zeus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zeus shoots in looking for a takedown but Knife manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zeus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Zeus throws a lazy head kick

and Knife counters by clinching up.

That was a close round but I would say that Boris Knife will probably get the nod.

Knife leaves Zeus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Knife looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Knife clinches up with Zeus and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Christopher Zeus has been cut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Knife.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knife using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Zeus has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Knife escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knife tries to work over Zeus's front leg with a kick but Zeus checks it.
Zeus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Knife instigates a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zeus has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Knife after a bit of a struggle.

Knife rushes Zeus and presses him up against the cage.

Zeus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Knife walks away with a smile on his face. Zeus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Zeus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Knife throws a knee to the head but misses.
Knife digs a right hand underneath Zeus's ribcage. Zeus let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Boris Knife is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Knife closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Knife.

Knife's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Knife throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Boris Knife is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zeus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Knife defends well and Zeus ends up having to push Knife into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Zeus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Zeus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Knife pulls guard effortlessly.

Knife had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zeus defends it easily.
Knife is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Zeus dives into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zeus advances to mount.
Knife on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Knife tries to get out of the position.
Poor strikes thrown by Zeus there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Knife tries to reverse the position but Zeus maintains control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Knife is in all sorts of trouble here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knife, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
