PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dung Pee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Denn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Denn's waist but Denn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pee off to one side.
Pee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pee has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dung Pee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pee.
Pee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Denn paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pee connects with a nice looking jab.

Pee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Denn to the mat! Denn manages to get full guard.

Denn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Denn pushes Pee off and scrambles back to his feet.

Pee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Denn controlling the position well.
Denn works his way to full guard. Good work.

Denn is looking for a triangle but Pee pushes his legs off easily.

Denn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Denn on the ground.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pee is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Denn has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pee is looking to defend but Denn has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pee! Denn pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pee taps out and this one is all over!
