Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Capwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Capwell comes to the cage accompanied by The Haunted - 99. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fierro's choice of entrance music: Punkrocker. Jonnie Fierro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Capwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Capwell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fierro down.

Fierro is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Capwell thows a huge punch but Fierro dodges it nicely.

Capwell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fierro is still in real trouble! Can Capwell finish him?
Capwell lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Fierro quite badly. Fierro pulls Capwell in close trying to recover. Capwell postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fierro on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fierro doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mason Capwell!
Mason Capwell decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
