Wray has chosen The Leprechan Song as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nathan Bowman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seth Wray!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wray gets a clinch.
Bowman tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Wray misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bowman scores with a shoulder strike.

Bowman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bowman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wray tries to free his leg and advance position but Bowman is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bowman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bowman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wray defends it easily.
Wray wants to control from the top but Bowman keeps moving.
Wray trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wray must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bowman pushes a forearm under Wray's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wray is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
