The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Castro sprawls well. Castro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Best gets slowly back to his feet.
Castro moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Yster Best has been cut.
Best avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Best slips under a jab from Castro.
Castro tries to clinch up but Best circles away and keeps his distance.
Best looks for a takedown but Castro sprawls well.
Castro throws a shot from downtown. Best moves away and avoids it.

Castro lands a left and a right that send Best crashing to the mat, dazed. Castro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Best is rocked!
Boss Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Castro explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Castro throws a series of punches but Best moves out of range.

Castro throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Best sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Castro throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Castro tries to land a front kick but Best steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boss Castro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Castro lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nice uppercut there from Castro.
Best shoots in but no luck this time.
Boss Castro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yster Best.
Best shoots for a double leg takedown but Castro sprawls well. He's pushed Best's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Castro is looking to land body kicks.

Castro cracks Best with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Best looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Castro finish him?

Best thows a leg kick but Castro checks it
and Castro counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Best badly! Castro follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Best out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Castro finished him against the cage.
