Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Herzog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Serial Killa. Herzog has chosen Takida - Curly Sue as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 19 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Herzog!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall tries to clinch up.
Herzog has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Herzog changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hall tries to avoid it but Herzog manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hall to the ground. Hall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hall misses with a body shot.
Hall just misses with a punch to the body.
Herzog swats away the attempt to clinch by Hall.
Hall tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Herzog manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Michael Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Herzog connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hall has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hall defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Herzog.

and Herzog counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hall won't be happy with that.
Hall is looking for a sweep.

Herzog has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Herzog throws an elbow but Hall slips to the side and avoids it well.

Herzog is landing with some decent strikes but Hall is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall is bucking up trying to escape but Herzog cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Hall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hall takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Herzog's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
