Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bryce ODonnell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rane Kingi!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ODonnell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kingi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kingi avoids the head kick by ODonnell.
Kingi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on ODonnell. That did some damage!
Kingi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kingi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kingi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and ODonnell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
ODonnell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kingi. Kingi obviously looking to wear him down.
Kingi lands a nice looking body kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kingi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kingi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
ODonnell moves out of range of the leg kick from Kingi.
Kingi connects with a leg kick. ODonnell looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kingi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kingi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kingi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
ODonnell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
ODonnell throws a head kick but Kingi moves out of range.
Kingi keeps ODonnell at a distance using the push kick.
A head kick misses from ODonnell.
Kingi with a nice cross.
Bryce ODonnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
ODonnell tries to bum rush Kingi with a series of wild strikes but Kingi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kingi throws a leg kick but ODonnell checks it.
ODonnell is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
ODonnell takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A decent looking cross lands there for ODonnell.
A jab from Kingi does it's job there.
Crunch! Kingi slams his shin into ODonnell's torso.
ODonnell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kingi avoids the head kick by ODonnell.
Kingi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from ODonnell.
Kingi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Kingi blocks a head kick by ODonnell.

ODonnell is looking to chop away at Kingi's legs.
Kingi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kingi lands a lovely overhand right.
Donk. ODonnell catches Kingi right on the button with a cross.
Kingi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


ODonnell is rocked!
Kingi throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on ODonnell's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Kingi dives in looking to finish as ODonnell flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Kingi's strikes! Kingi is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! ODonnell's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but ODonnell was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rane Kingi!
After winning the bout, Rane Kingi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Bryce ODonnell spoke after the fight, saying 'My hats off to my opponent he's great fighter. Thanks to king Arthur and fallen champions. Thank you fans next time you see me I'm gonna get the win.'.
