Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dileno Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esta me Dinero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dileno Carneiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Esta me Dinero!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carneiro with a poor takedown

and Dinero moves into the clinch.
Carneiro has Dinero pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dinero manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Carneiro jumps guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Carneiro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dinero defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carneiro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dinero is one step ahead there.
Carneiro wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Dinero is now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dinero in particular looking to stall.

Dinero is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carneiro is just riding it out for now. Dinero eventually gives up the hold.

Dinero is looking for a kimura but Carneiro is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dinero to get the leverage.
Carneiro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dinero throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Dinero thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carneiro's head.
Carneiro looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dinero wants to pass to mount but Carneiro is defending the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dinero cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Carneiro is bucking up trying to escape but Dinero cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Carneiro is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Dinero has hold of Carneiro's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carneiro manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Carneiro tries to reverse the position but Dinero maintains control.
You get the feeling that Carneiro really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dinero takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Carneiro tries to reverse the position but Dinero maintains control.
Dinero lands a nice shot to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carneiro tries to hold on but Dinero pushes him away.

Carneiro jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Carneiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dinero tries to avoid it but Carneiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dinero to the ground. Dinero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dileno Carneiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Carneiro shoots in and drives through. Dinero sprawls well.

Dinero using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Carneiro has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Carneiro is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dinero connects with a decent elbow.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carneiro can't do much from the bottom here.
Dinero misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Dinero has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Carneiro!
Carneiro is bucking up trying to escape but Dinero cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Dinero goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Carneiro is on top in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dinero is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dinero's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Esta me Dinero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Dinero closes the distance and pushes Carneiro back into the cage.
Carneiro blocks the elbow strike.

Dinero is trying to trip Carneiro. He has hold of a leg but Carneiro is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dinero persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Dinero has gone for a leg lock! Carneiro slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dinero's guard.

Carneiro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dinero looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dinero looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dinero!

Carneiro wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Esta me Dinero is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Dinero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
