The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schroeder drops Batista with a beautiful combination! Batista stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Schroeder is looking for the KO!

It looks like Gab Batista has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schroeder throws a body punch but Batista moves out of range.
Schroeder throws a series of punches but Batista avoids them all with ease.
Schroeder jabs Batista to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Batista fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Schroeder attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

and Batista counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Schroeder is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Schroeder counters with a crisp right hand that drops Batista! Schroeder lets Batista back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Batista tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schroeder swivels and escapes.
Batista is still on wobbly legs! Can Schroeder finish him?
Franklin Schroeder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gab Batista.
Schroeder connects with a body shot that sends Batista's belly button to the back.
Batista looks winded!
Schroeder sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Batista's defenses. It connects perfectly with Batista's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
