Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erik Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mambo Acid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erik Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mambo Acid!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acid tries to clinch but Gordon moves away
and Gordon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Acid misses with a series of wild punches.
Gordon scores with a jab. Acid acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Mambo Acid has been cut.
Gordon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Acid shoots for a takedown but Gordon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Acid tries to clinch but Gordon moves away
and Gordon counters with a good low kick that Acid was not able to check.
Acid fails with the takedown
and Gordon counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gordon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Acid swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Acid prevents Gordon from getting the reversal.
Gordon wants to control but Acid is having none of it.
Acid is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gordon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gordon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Acid on the ground.

Gordon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Acid's guard.

Gordon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Acid has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gordon has managed to get both his arms back between Acid's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Acid takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
