Diotte has chosen Cypress Hill - I Want 2 Get High as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fritzie Zivic is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diotte darts in looking for a takedown but Zivic gets double underhooks and turns Diotte into the cage.
Diotte doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Zivic tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Diotte tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Zivic's elbow.
Zivic lands a left hand that snaps the head of Diotte backwards.
Zivic swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Diotte tries a body shot but Zivic blocks it.
Diotte drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zivic pulls his leg out and moves away.
Diotte steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zivic.
Diotte misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fritzie Zivic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Diotte.

Zivic lands a nice shot that snaps Diotte's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diotte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zivic works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Andrew Diotte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zivic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Diotte throws a looping overhand right but Zivic ducks down to avoid it.
Diotte catches Zivic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Fritzie Zivic has been cut.
Zivic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Zivic leaves Diotte with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zivic lands the left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diotte takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zivic keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Diotte doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Zivic weaves into range and cracks Diotte right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Diotte goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Zivic is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Fritzie Zivic tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
