Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Urijah Faber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber misses with a takedown attempt - Garcia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Garcia.
Faber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Faber has control of Garcia's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Garcia regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Garcia slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Faber is breathing heavily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Faber lands a nice short elbow.
Garcia has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Faber is working away from the top position though.

Faber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Faber off to one side.

Faber takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Garcia has hold of Faber's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Faber manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Faber is wriggling around trying to escape.

Faber is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Garcia dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Faber counters with a shoot takedown. Garcia fights it but they end up in guard.
Garcia pushes Faber off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Faber circles away from the clinch attempt
and Faber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Garcia's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garcia keeping moving, preventing Faber from controlling successfully.
Faber is sitting in close to Garcia's body. Garcia has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Faber is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Faber is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Garcia.
