The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mossey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mossey showed some decent athleticism there.

Mossey wants to work for an arm triangle but Paha is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Paha pushes Mossey off looking to stand but Mossey dives back in and keeps control.
Paha is trying to get back to full guard.

Mossey is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Paha doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mossey .

Paha is trying to buck Mossey off.

Mossey wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Paha, who protects the arm well.

Mossey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mossey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Paha wants to get back to his feet but Mossey drags him back down.

Mossey has hold of Paha's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Paha tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mossey cranks the arm and Paha screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Paha, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
