Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jowell Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and carlos Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Jon ft Swizz Beats - I DO. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Escudero looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rodriguez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Escudero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodriguez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodriguez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rodriguez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rodriguez drops back looking for a leg! Escudero is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Escudero manages to kick Rodriguez off! Rodriguez jumps back into Escudero 's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodriguez controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Escudero has his foot on Rodriguez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rodriguez works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rodriguez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rodriguez passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Escudero is trying to get back to half guard.
Rodriguez tries for a kimura but Escudero is defending well.
Rodriguez cracks Escudero with a big elbow.
Rodriguez has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Escudero is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rodriguez yanks on the arm and Escudero is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rodriguez.
