Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Payton Clemons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Zach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zach keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Zach fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Clemons counters by clinching up.
Clemons jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zach walks away with a smile on his face. Clemons gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zach slaps away a takedown attempt from Clemons, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Clemons darts in looking for a takedown but Zach gets double underhooks and turns Clemons into the cage.

Zach's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A punch combination from Clemons misses.
Zach lands with a thumping leg kick.
Clemons changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zach tries to avoid it but Clemons manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zach to the ground. Zach escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Clemons tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zach smiles and moves away.

Clemons shoots in and bounces Zach off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Clemons postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clemons in particular looking to stall.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Zach is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Zach ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Clemons tries to close the distance and clinch but Zach swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
