PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Musashimaru Koyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Esposito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koyo comes into the arena with "Tengoku Kara Kaminari" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole blaring out of the sound system. Esposito has chosen Sukh Knight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esposito moves away from the strike by Koyo.
Esposito throws a series of punches but Koyo moves out of range.
Esposito misses with a two punch combination.
Esposito throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Koyo throws a body punch but Esposito moves out of range.
Koyo just misses with a punch to the body.
Esposito fails to land with a series of punches.
Esposito lands a jab to the nose.
Koyo looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Koyo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Koyo gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Koyo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Esposito!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Koyo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Esposito is bucking up trying to escape but Koyo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like John Esposito has been cut.
Koyo lands a big shot there that rocks Esposito but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Esposito wants to control but Koyo is having none of it.
