The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pukki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Joulu Pukki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gauge stuffs the takedown attempt from Pukki. Pukki gets slowly back to his feet.
Tyson Gauge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joulu Pukki.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pukki. Gauge shrugs it off though.

Gauge cracks Pukki with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gauge has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pukki to stand back up!

It looks like Joulu Pukki has been cut.
Pukki shoots in but Gauge avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pukki is still on wobbly legs! Can Gauge finish him?
Tyson Gauge is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pukki seems to have recovered his senses.
