Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Purple Aki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myers's entrance music is Halloween. A fine choice. Aki has chosen Slim Whitman - Indian Love Call as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aki thows a left - swing and a miss!
Aki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A punch combination from Aki misses.
Good leg kick by Myers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Myers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Aki scores with a sloppy right hand. Myers should have avoided that one.

and Aki moves into the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Aki has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

Aki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Myers throws a leg kick but Aki moved away.
We've been told by Myers's head coaches at Combat Sports Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Myers misses with a wild combination.
Aki fakes the leg kick and cracks Myers in the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aki fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Aki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Myers doesn't seem bothered though.

Aki pushes Myers away with a front kick.
Aki lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

During a confident post fight interview, Purple Aki thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
