The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCormick lands with a hook. Machin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Machin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McCormick connects with a jab.
McCormick misses with a low kick.
McCormick rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Machin counters with a two punch combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Machin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McCormick throws a push kick but Machin slaps the foot to one side.

We've been hearing reports that Machin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

McCormick rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Machin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

McCormick feints and then cracks Machin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Machin down.

Machin dives in for a single leg takedown but McCormick sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
