Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donkey Untamed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ribeiro's choice of entrance music: bubble pop. Ippo Ribeiro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Donkey Untamed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ippo Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Untamed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ribeiro.
Untamed takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ribeiro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ribeiro moves away from the strike by Untamed.
Ribeiro misses with a looping left.
Untamed throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown by Ribeiro or perhaps it was just good defense by Untamed which made him look bad.
Ribeiro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Untamed throws a series of punches but Ribeiro moves out of range.
Ribeiro takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ribeiro uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Untamed.
Ribeiro dives in for a single leg takedown but Untamed sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Ribeiro has Untamed pressed against the cage, preventing Untamed from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Untamed is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ribeiro is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Untamed to the mat. Untamed regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ribeiro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Untamed paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ribeiro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Untamed was well out of range. Poor timing from Ribeiro.

Ribeiro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Untamed to the ground. Ribeiro is now in Untamed's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Untamed tries to kick Ribeiro off but Ribeiro keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Untamed is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ribeiro scores with a couple of nice shots.

It looks like Donkey Untamed has been cut.

Untamed has Ribeiro pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ribeiro takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Ribeiro is trying to work for a kimura but Untamed is defending well.

Untamed throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Ribeiro decides to return to a standing position.
Ribeiro tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Untamed counters with a three punch combo that has Ribeiro backing up. Ribeiro nods at Untamed to acknowledge the strikes.
Untamed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ribeiro dives in for a single leg takedown but Untamed sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ribeiro gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Untamed.
Ribeiro is looking to take this one to the mat.
Untamed has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ribeiro after a bit of a struggle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Untamed fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donkey Untamed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ribeiro looks up at the clock and then as Untamed takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ribeiro smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ribeiro connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Untamed some visible discomfort.

Ribeiro is looking to take a break and control but Untamed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ribeiro decides to stand up, so the ref orders Untamed to his feet.

Untamed gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ribeiro to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Ribeiro is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Ribeiro stays in close to Untamed's body and controls the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ribeiro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Untamed swivels and escapes.

Ribeiro decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Untamed, up you get!

Ippo Ribeiro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Untamed's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Untamed throws a nice looking combination but Ribeiro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ribeiro moves into the clinch.

Untamed turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Untamed manages to end up in side control.
You can see the frustration on Ribeiro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ribeiro is pushing Untamed's head away, looking to escape. Untamed manages to hold on to the position though.
Ribeiro wants to control but Untamed postures up.

Untamed lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ribeiro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Untamed has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ribeiro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ribeiro has his hands on Untamed's head, controlling the position.
Ribeiro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ribeiro pulls Untamed in close to his closed guard and prevents Untamed from doing any damage or advancing position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ribeiro wants to sweep here but Untamed controlling him for the moment.

Ribeiro manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Untamed is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ribeiro to keep the fight standing.
Ribeiro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ribeiro tries to land knees in the clinch but Untamed avoids the damage to the body.

Ribeiro has clasped his hands together around Untamed's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Untamed is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ribeiro off and has taken his back!

Untamed is trying to stick to Ribeiro's back but Ribeiro is turning into Untamed. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Untamed's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ribeiro.
Untamed doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Ribeiro stands up and waves to Untamed to follow him.

Ribeiro lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Untamed is in a horrible position here. Ribeiro smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Donkey Untamed has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ippo Ribeiro is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
