Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yang Xinhai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Hatfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xinhai comes to the cage accompanied by Loco. Hatfield comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Country Boy Can Survive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Xinhai as Hatfield shoots in.
Xinhai misses with a leg kick

and Hatfield counters by clinching up.
Hatfield fails to pull guard.

Xinhai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Xinhai's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hatfield under the eye.
Hatfield shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Xinhai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Yang Xinhai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Hatfield.
Xinhai lands a right hook to the body.

Hatfield blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hatfield is trying to pull guard but Xinhai has him pressed against the cage.

Hatfield has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Xinhai uses from the top position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hatfield has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Xinhai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Xinhai is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hatfield has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Xinhai is looking to defend but Hatfield has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Xinhai! Hatfield pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Xinhai taps out and this one is all over!
