Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Rak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blue Rak will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Rak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Machida avoids it really well and circles away.
Rak throws a sloppy head kick and Machida moves out of range easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Machida counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Blue Rak has been cut.
Rak looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Machida counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rak! Machida lets Rak back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rak looks to land a body kick but Machida moved away.
Lyoto Machida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machida pinned against the cage. Machida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rak tries to clinch up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Machida definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Rak looks to land a combination but Machida avoids it well.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rak tries to close the distance and clinch but Machida swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rak connects with a jab.
Rak attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

A bone on bone clash there as Machida blocks the leg kick.
Lyoto Machida is winning the standup battle so far.
Rak misses with a body kick.
Rak tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Machida defends well and Rak ends up having to push Machida into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Rak breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rak tests Machida's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rak throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Rak misses with a wild body shot.
Blue Rak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rak fails with the takedown.
Rak throws a wild body kick that Machida sees coming a mile off.
Rak lunges at Machida with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Machida's hand.

Rak has a takedown stuffed.
Lyoto Machida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blue Rak.
Rak throws a sloppy head kick and Machida moves out of range easily.
Rak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Machida uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rak.
Rak pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Machida back to the cage. Rak follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
