Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zack Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Taio Cruz-Dynamite. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Alex Dragon enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dragon.
Nichols throws a lazy right hand but Dragon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dragon moves away from the strike by Nichols.
Dragon looks to throw the jab but Nichols is out of range.
Dragon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nichols moves away from the strike by Dragon.
Nichols checks the leg kick.
No joy there for Dragon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nichols throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Nichols moves into the clinch.
Dragon tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nichols's elbow.
Nichols using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dragon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Nichols lands a hook to the side of the head.

Nichols has Dragon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nichols pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dragon tumbling to the mat - Nichols dives into Dragon's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dragon wants to sweep here but Nichols controlling him for the moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dragon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nichols trying to mount his opponent but Dragon defends it.
Dragon is looking for a sweep. Nichols is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dragon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nichols is pushing down on Dragon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dragon is fighting to maintain full guard but Nichols has managed to sneak the leg through.
Nichols is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Dragon is looking for a sweep. Nichols is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dragon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Nichols looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Dragon wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nichols moves into full mount! Dragon won't be happy about that!
Dragon regains half guard.
Dragon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nichols is working away from the top position though.
Nichols is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Nichols lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
