The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez tries to clinch up.
Alvarez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Skillz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Alvarez is defending well. Skillz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Alvarez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Skillz celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
