Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm comes into the arena with Mainlining Murder blaring out of the sound system. Jon has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Jon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon looks to land a left hand but Storm moved out of range nicely.
Jon throws a series of punches but Storm moves out of range.
Storm shoots in for a double leg but Jon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jon finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jon drops Storm with a left and a right! Oh, Storm is hurt - Jon dives into side control looking to finish!


It looks like Lance Storm has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Storm tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jon wants to control but Storm is keeping him busy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jon throws a right hand that Storm ducks under and follows up with a left that Storm also avoids with ease.
Jon looks to land a body kick but Storm moved away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Storm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
