Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Mica!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mica blocks a jab.

Lee takes the fight into the clinch.
Mica can't get the takedown.
Lee pushes Mica back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Lee lands a shoulder strike.
Mica wants a takedown.
Lee manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Lee lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Mica stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mica doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mica manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mica stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mica wants to stand but Lee is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mica seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Mica tries to land a front kick but Lee steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Mica really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lee is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mica defends it well.

Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mica does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
