Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael MacRoberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacRoberts comes to the cage accompanied by God Save the Queen by The Sex Pistols. Hernandez has chosen Danza kuduro as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez has his takedown stuffed
enabling MacRoberts to counter with a crisp jab.

Hernandez pushes MacRoberts up against the cage in a clinch.
MacRoberts wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
MacRoberts wants to get back to striking at distance but Hernandez won't allow it.
Hernandez lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
MacRoberts is trying to force a seperation but Hernandez has the dominant position.

MacRoberts tries to circle away but Hernandez has him pinned against the cage.
Hernandez goes for a takedown attempt but MacRoberts pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

MacRoberts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hernandez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hernandez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hernandez shoots in looking for a takedown but MacRoberts manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hernandez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

MacRoberts lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hernandez backs up against the cage.
MacRoberts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hernandez was well out of range. Poor timing from MacRoberts.
Hernandez tries to clinch up but MacRoberts circles away and keeps his distance.
Hernandez moves in looking to clinch but MacRoberts pushes him off.
