Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Nejman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matheus Dias could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Danny Nejman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matheus Dias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Nejman!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias closes the distance and clinches up with Nejman, looking for a takedown. Dias pushes Nejman against the cage but Nejman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dias shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nejman as he avoids it easily.
Nejman tries to clinch there but Dias circles away.
Nejman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dias manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dias leaves Nejman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We've been told by Dias's head coaches at [CBK] Punch-kicker Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Nejman shoots in looking for a takedown. Dias tries to sprawl out of it but Nejman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dias manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dias is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Dias throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nejman's waist but Nejman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dias off to one side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nejman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
