Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ruden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dudley Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Ruden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dudley Bradshaw!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradshaw fails with a takedown attempt.
Ruden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ruden tries to bum rush Bradshaw with a series of wild strikes but Bradshaw uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ruden closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ruden misses with the ground and pound.
Bradshaw has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bradshaw shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ruden sprawls well. Ruden wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bradshaw gets slowly back to his feet.

Ruden leaves Bradshaw with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ruden darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ruden misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ruden connects with a nice short shot to Bradshaw's temple.
Bradshaw is not content to let Ruden control the position.
Ruden is taking a breather. Bradshaw says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Joe Ruden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ruden comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Well Ruden has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
