Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Devon Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wee Ning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devon Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wee Ning!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ning throws a jab but it's blocked by Dixon.

Ning darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ning lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Ning wants to pass the guard but Dixon is defending well.

Ning looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ning is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dixon sees it coming and defends easily.

Ning is trying to control the action in half guard but Dixon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Ning looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Dixon is staying active underneath Ning, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ning tries to pass to full mount but Dixon defends it.
Ning looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dixon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ning wants to take a breather but Dixon is having none of it.

Ning working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Dixon's thigh. Dixon counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Ning cracks Dixon with a solid left hand.
Ning is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Ning seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dixon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dixon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ning is working away from the top position though.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Ning goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dixon rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ning's guard! Nice work there by Dixon!

Ning lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dixon!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ning working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Ning is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dixon defends it well.

Dixon tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Ning is looking to take a break and control but Dixon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ning is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Dixon reverses the position - he's now on top in Ning's guard.
Ning tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dixon trying to control but Ning is working from the bottom.
Ning controls Dixon momentarily but Dixon frees himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ning working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dixon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dixon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ning is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Wee Ning showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Ning throws a right hand that misses
and Dixon counters with a nice body kick.

Dixon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ning tries to get to full guard but Dixon has control of the leg.
Ning is pressing down on Dixon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Ning has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Dixon wanted to stand there but Ning had control of the position.
Ning bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dixon's guard.
Ning wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving.

Ning working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Ning lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Ning has gone for a leg lock! Dixon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ning's guard.
Ning seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Ning takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Dixon wants to pass the guard but Ning is keeping the position.
Ning lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dixon!

Wee Ning is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Ning pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Ning content just to control the position here.

Ning is working for a guillotine from mount but Dixon frees his head quite easily.
Ning wants to take Dixon's back but he can't do it this time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dixon tries to lock up and control but Ning gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Ning looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Ning postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dixon looks a forlorn figure.
