Po comes to the cage accompanied by The Roots-Game Theory. Karlsson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. SurfinŽ bird kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kurt Karlsson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tong Po's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po moves in looking to clinch but Karlsson pushes him off.
Po tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Karlsson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Po clinches up against the cage.

Po using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Karlsson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

I was talking to Po's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

With the fighters up against the cage, Po throws an elbow but misses.

Po is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Po throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Karlsson blocks it with crossed arms.
Po pushes Karlsson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Karlsson is rocked!

Po lands a right hand that snaps the head of Karlsson backwards.
Karlsson is still on wobbly legs! Can Po finish him?
Po works on Karlsson's body with a couple of short punches.

Po drops Karlsson onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Karlsson is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Po is muscling Karlsson up against the cage and as Karlsson bounces back off, Po cracks him with a huge right hand! Karlsson crumples to the mat - he's out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tong Po!
A very excited looking Tong Po made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
