The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze lands a leg kick that knocks Vieri off balance momentarily.
Blaze moves out of range of the strikes.
Blaze takes a swing at Vieri's ribcage but misses.
Blaze throws a right hand that misses

and Vieri counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Blaze keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Vieri thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Blaze has hold of Vieri's hands but Vieri slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Vieri is looking to pass Blaze's guard but actually Blaze recovers to full guard.
Vieri trying to control the position from guard on top but Blaze is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vieri throws an elbow that misses. Blaze uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vieri's guard. Nice move by Blaze!

Blaze stands up from Vieri's guard - Blaze perhaps looking for a knockout.

Blaze lands a nice hook to Vieri's body. Vieri takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blaze throws a chopping leg kick but Vieri manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Tyson Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blaze throws a body punch but Vieri moves out of range.
Blaze takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Blaze takes one on the button.
Blaze throws out a loose jab but Vieri uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blaze looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Blaze lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vieri circles away quickly and effectively.
Vieri checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Vieri lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Vieri slips a jab from Blaze.
Vieri throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vieri throws a nice outside leg kick.

Vieri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blaze.
Blaze throws a low kick, looking for Vieri's leg but Vieri calmly moves out of range.

Blaze throws a front kick aimed at Vieri's knee but Vieri avoids it well.
Blaze attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Blaze fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vieri thumps Blaze with a low kick.

Vieri wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

A punch lands to the side of Blaze 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vieri keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Blaze lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vieri circles away quickly and effectively.
Vieri swings for the body but Blaze moves out of range.

Vieri scores with the left hand. Blaze knows he should have avoided that one.

Blaze feints and then cracks Vieri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vieri down.
Vieri jabs Blaze right on the nose. Blaze blinks but takes it well.
Blaze looks to land a right hand but Vieri moved out of range.
Vieri throws a quick inside leg kick.
Blaze throws a right hand that Vieri ducks under and follows up with a left that Vieri also avoids with ease.
Vieri lands a glancing blow to the side of Blaze's head.
Blaze swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vieri connects with a jab.

Blaze is rocked!
Vieri wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Blaze is still on wobbly legs! Can Vieri finish him?

Blaze wants to land a leg kick but Vieri is out of range.

Tyson Blaze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blaze gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Vieri gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Blaze is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
