Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Infamous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bennett.
Nice takedown defense from Infamous. No joy for Bennett on that attempt.
Bennett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Infamous pinned against the cage. Infamous gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erik Bennett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bennett scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bennett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bennett won't allow Infamous to sweep him here.
Bennett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Infamous on the ground.

Infamous had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bennett is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Infamous Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bennett's back instead.
Bennett looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Infamous working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Bennett is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Infamous has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Bennett taps out!
