Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Gurel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrone Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurel fails to land the takedown.
Gurel throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Gurel misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Gurel or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gurel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gurel off to one side.
Tyrone Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Gurel.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Gurel shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
Gurel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gurel closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Gurel pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones works over Gurel's head and body with a nice combination.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gurel circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gurel shoots in but no luck this time.

Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gurel closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Gurel pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gurel looks winded!
Gurel walks into a stiff left hand from Jones.

Jones throws a nice looking combination but Gurel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gurel is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.

Jones has Gurel up against the cage in a clinch.
Gurel is trying to force a seperation but Jones has the dominant position.
Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones steps in with a hook that catches Gurel right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jones follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Gurel looks absolutely devastated.
