Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Kray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Everytime I Die. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronnie Kray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk walks into a straight right hand from Kray.
Ronnie Kray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hawk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hawk slows the pace down.

Hawk looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kray is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Hawk trying to control the action but Kray is working from the bottom.
Kray wants to get back to his feet but Hawk drags him back down.

Kray throws Hawk to one side and escapes!
Hawk ducks straight into an uppercut from Kray and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Hawk maanges to regain guard straight away.


Hawk is rocked!


It looks like Mike Hawk has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kray wanted to stand there but Hawk had control of the position.

Kray would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kray wants to stand and escape but instead Hawk has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kray is looking to stand up but Hawk isn't so interested in that idea.
Hawk sitting in guard here, content to control.

Kray is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kray tries to bum rush Hawk with a series of wild strikes but Hawk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kray scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Hawk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hawk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hawk looking to secure an arm triangle but Kray defends it well.
Kray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hawk on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hawk won't let Kray get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Hawk is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
A big left from Kray misses.
Hawk avoids a punch combination nicely.

Hawk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kray is looking to escape.
Hawk is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Hawk jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kray manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee asks Hawk politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hawk prefers to stall for the moment though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kray tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Hawk won't let Kray get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hawk cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
You get the feeling that Kray really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kray in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Kray is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Hawk stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
A right-left combo lands from Kray.

Hawk looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Kray uses the ropes to get back to his feet.

Kray gets caught flat footed, as Hawk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hawk trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hawk won't allow Kray to get back to his feet.

Kray is working an open guard so Hawk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A punch combination from Kray misses.
Kray fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kray misses with a double jab.

Hawk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hawk lands in his opponent's guard.
Kray wants to stand but Hawk is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Hawk dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mike Hawk's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


No joy there for Kray, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kray works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kray throws a one two combo.

Hawk is still on wobbly legs! Can Kray finish him?
Kray lands a really nice looking cross but Hawk seems unphased.
Kray throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hawk seems to have recovered his senses.

Hawk shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hawk showed some decent athleticism there.

Hawk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hawk sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kray defending well though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kray wants to stand back up but Hawk manages to pass into side control.

Kray wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Hawk trying to control the action but Kray is working from the bottom.
Kray pushes Hawk away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hawk gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hawk in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kray is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
