Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amir Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hermio Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Junior sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Khan somewhat.
Oooh a lovely combination from Junior sends Khan down but not out. Junior dives into side control looking to finish.
Khan is rocked!
It looks like Amir Khan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Junior tries to stand but Khan is controlling his head.
Khan is looking to regain half guard here but Junior keeps moving and retains side control.
Junior stands up and beckons Khan to his feet.
Junior tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Junior throws a front kick aimed at Khan's knee but Khan avoids it well.

Junior swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Junior lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Khan or not.
Junior pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Khan shoots in and gets a takedown into Junior's guard.
Junior really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khan connects with a nice short shot to Junior's temple.

You get the feeling that Junior really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Khan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Junior can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Junior is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Khan off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Khan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Junior swivels and escapes.
Junior seems to have recovered his senses.
Junior moves in looking to clinch but Khan pushes him off.
Khan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Junior leaves Khan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amir Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Junior is fending him off so far but Khan persists. Nope, Junior circles away and we're back to standing.
Khan darts in looking for a takedown but Junior gets double underhooks and turns Khan into the cage.
