The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perseu lands a slapping body shot.
Perseu moves to clinch but WestWood breaks away

and WestWood counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Perseu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Perseu trying to remain calm as WestWood controls from the top position.
WestWood seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Perseu for as long as he can get away with.

WestWood has hold of Perseu's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Perseu seems comfortable defending it but WestWood has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Perseu is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Perseu is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but WestWood couldn't care less - he's delighted!
