Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Papy Abedi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Crazy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crazy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mienteme. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Papy Abedi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Igor Crazy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crazy throws a lazy uppercut
and Abedi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Crazy thinking.
Crazy misses with a leg kick
and Abedi finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Abedi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Crazy swings widly with a right hand

and Abedi counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Abedi prevents Crazy from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Abedi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crazy sees it coming and defends easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abedi wants to take a breather but Crazy is having none of it.
Abedi stalling.

Crazy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Crazy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Crazy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Abedi trying to control the position from guard on top but Crazy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Crazy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Abedi is aware though and is defending well.
Crazy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Abedi is one step ahead there.
Crazy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Abedi is trying to escape the mount.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Crazy working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Abedi wants to hold on but Crazy pushes him away.
Abedi is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Abedi swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Abedi is looking to get to half guard.
Crazy scoring with strikes but Abedi is staying in there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Crazy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Abedi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Abedi tries to lock up and control but Crazy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

It looks like Papy Abedi has been cut.
Abedi is looking to get to half guard.
Oh Abedi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crazy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Abedi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Abedi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

In his post fight interview, Igor Crazy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
