Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnnie Wait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wait's choice of entrance music: Say Hello. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That has opened up Johnnie Wait's cut even more.

Edwards lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Edwards cracks Wait with a big right hand and Wait goes down!

Wait gets off balance looking for a body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Edwards.
Edwards lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Edwards bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wait's head.
Johnnie Wait is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Edwards throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


Johnnie Wait's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnnie Wait's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chris Edwards!
