Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moses Kealekapuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Moses Kealekapuna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Martin!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kealekapuna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.
Martin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Martin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kealekapuna has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kealekapuna lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Martin at a distance.
Kealekapuna fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Martin looks to land a combination but Kealekapuna avoids it well.
Kealekapuna needs to keep his hands up - Martin had a free shot at his head there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Martin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kealekapuna moves away.
Kealekapuna lands a nice leg kick that just misses Martin's sensitive parts.

Kealekapuna looks to land a combination. Martin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Martin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Martin misses with a wild body shot.
Kealekapuna throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Martin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kealekapuna takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kealekapuna lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kealekapuna scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kealekapuna throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kealekapuna is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kealekapuna scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Martin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kealekapuna throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Kealekapuna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.
Good leg kick by Kealekapuna there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kealekapuna ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Martin throws a right and a left that Kealekapuna avoids nicely.
Martin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kealekapuna connects with a body shot.
Kealekapuna misses with a jab, cross combination.
Martin throws a lazy uppercut
and Kealekapuna counters with a solid body kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kealekapuna.

Kealekapuna buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kealekapuna is looking to wear down Martin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kealekapuna.

Kealekapuna lands a big head kick that sends Martin tumbling to the mat! Kealekapuna takes a step backwards and waves Martin back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Martin is rocked!
Martin's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Moses Kealekapuna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kealekapuna connects with a stiff jab that staggers Martin - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
