Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mika Zibanejadass!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Morrison shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zibanejadass counters with a straight right hand.
Morrison fails with the takedown
and Zibanejadass counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morrison moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd cheers as Zibanejadass lands an impressive looking overhand right. Morrison doesn't seem phased though.
Morrison closes the distance and clinches up with Zibanejadass, looking for a takedown. Morrison pushes Zibanejadass against the cage but Zibanejadass circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Morrison. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oh Morrison is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morrison chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zibanejadass can pounce on him.
Zibanejadass throws out a powerful jab.
Zibanejadass lands a big head kick that sends Morrison to the canvas! Zibanejadass follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mika Zibanejadass!
Mika Zibanejadass decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
