Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tj Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Kotetsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wash comes to the cage accompanied by You Dont Know. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tj Wash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Kotetsu!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotetsu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Roberto Kotetsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kotetsu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kotetsu tries for a takedown but Wash manages to get underhooks.
Wash prevents the takedown attempt.
Tj Wash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Kotetsu.

Wash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kotetsu throws a series of punches but Wash avoids them all with ease.
Kotetsu shoots in looking for a takedown but Wash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kotetsu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kotetsu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wash as he avoids it easily.

Wash wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kotetsu tries for a takedown. No joy.

Kotetsu jumps guard and drags Wash to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Wash drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kotetsu looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kotetsu looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kotetsu!
Wash is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Kotetsu decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wash to his feet.

Kotetsu misses with a low kick as Wash jumps back.
Kotetsu shoots in and drives through. Wash sprawls well.

Kotetsu moves into range and clinches up with Wash.
Wash is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Wash gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Kotetsu throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Wash is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Kotetsu as he works his way to full guard.
Kotetsu looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Wash passes Kotetsu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Wash looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kotetsu defends it well.

Wash is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kotetsu sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wash is working for an americana but Kotetsu has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Wash was thinking about the submission.
Wash is breathing heavily.
Kotetsu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wash manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kotetsu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kotetsu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kotetsu is looking to stall here but Wash recovers full guard.
Wash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kotetsu prevents Wash from getting back to his feet.
Kotetsu is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Kotetsu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kotetsu passes Wash's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kotetsu is looking for a kimura here.
Wash wants to get back to his feet.

Kotetsu is controlling the pace.

Kotetsu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wash doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kotetsu.
Kotetsu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Kotetsu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wash is just riding it out for now. Kotetsu eventually gives up the hold.
Wash is trying to stand up here but Kotetsu is controlling him well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roberto Kotetsu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Kotetsu throws a right hand that Wash ducks under and follows up with a left that Wash also avoids with ease.
Kotetsu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wash is fending him off so far but Kotetsu persists. Nope, Wash circles away and we're back to standing.
Kotetsu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kotetsu throws a series of strikes that have Wash backpedaling.
Kotetsu fails to land the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roberto Kotetsu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Kotetsu shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wash eats them both and turns towards Kotetsu to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Tj Wash has been cut.
Wash moves forwards but Kotetsu connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kotetsu throws a right hand that Wash ducks under and follows up with a left that Wash also avoids with ease.
Kotetsu fails with the takedown

and Wash counters by clinching up.
Kotetsu controlling the action here for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kotetsu wants a takedown but no success here.
Kotetsu prevents Wash from breaking the clinch.

Kotetsu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kotetsu shoots and misses
and Wash counters with a big head kick but Kotetsu shrugs it off.
Tj Wash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Kotetsu.
Kotetsu misses with a two punch combination.

Kotetsu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wash, pushing him back against the cage.
Wash is working for takedown but Kotetsu is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kotetsu goes for a takedown attempt but Wash pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kotetsu shoots in and drives through. Wash sprawls well.
Wash dodges the punch combination from Kotetsu.

Kotetsu pushes Wash up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Wash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Kotetsu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kotetsu shoots in but no luck this time.
Tj Wash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kotetsu moves into range and clinches up with Wash.
Kotetsu goes for a takedown attempt but Wash pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A head kick misses from Kotetsu.
Roberto Kotetsu is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wash leaves Kotetsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kotetsu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wash as he avoids it easily.
Kotetsu fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kotetsu.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roberto Kotetsu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kotetsu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
