Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Todd Haskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Soplamocos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haskins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kid Rock - Bawitdaba. Soplamocos has chosen Eye of the Tiger!!! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haskins cracks Soplamocos with a good jab.
It looks like Kid Soplamocos has been cut.
Soplamocos is looking to slow Haskins down with leg kicks.
Haskins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Haskins.
Haskins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Soplamocos swivels and escapes.
Haskins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Soplamocos scoring well with a low kick there.
Soplamocos shoots in and gets a takedown into Haskins's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Haskins wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Soplamocos tries to free his leg and advance position but Haskins is retaining full guard.
Haskins is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Soplamocos is aware though and is defending well.
Soplamocos cracks Haskins with a solid left hand.
Soplamocos has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Haskins to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Soplamocos is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Haskins pulls down on the head and he's put Soplamocos to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Todd Haskins!
A determined Todd Haskins didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
