The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perseu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kalofwlinio to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kalofwlinio seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perseu has momentary wrist control but Kalofwlinio slips an elbow through the middle.
Perseu is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kalofwlinio dives into side control.
Perseu is trying to escape the position but Kalofwlinio is controlling the position.

Kalofwlinio has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Perseu is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kalofwlinio yanks on the arm and Perseu is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kalofwlinio.
