The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruf lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Danila Kormov has been cut.
Kormov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bruf is fending him off so far but Kormov persists. Nope, Bruf circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for Bruf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bruf has closed the distance and engaged Kormov in a clinch.
Our sources have told us that Bruf has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Kormov is working for takedown but Bruf is calmly controlling the position for now.

Bruf's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kormov dives in and grabs Bruf's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bruf pushes down on Kormov's head and hops out.
No joy there for Bruf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bruf ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kormov moves away.
Bruf connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Bruf misses with a double jab.

Kormov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kormov is putting a hurting on Bruf here, landing some big shots from side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bruf is trying to control Kormov's posture but Kormov avoids it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Kormov lands a nice forearm strike.

Bruf tries to buck Kormov off but Kormov is having none of it.

Bruf is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kormov has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kormov has an Americana. Bruf didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kormov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kormov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
