The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Immanuel misses with a looping left.
Ferrari thumps Immanuel with a low kick.
Immanuel closes the distance but Ferrari moves to the side

and Ferrari decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Immanuel's guard.
Immanuel told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Ferrari works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ferrari in particular looking to stall.
Ferrari passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Immanuel!
Ferrari avoids the attempt from Immanuel to control.
Ferrari lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Immanuel tries to lock up and control but Ferrari gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ferrari cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Immanuel is in a horrible position here. Ferrari smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
