Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moacyr Domingos De Matos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Krook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Matos comes into the arena with Kick Ass blaring out of the sound system. Krook has chosen Courage as his entrance music. Kalle Krook has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krook misses with a lunging right hand
and De Matos makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Krook really felt that one!
Krook lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Krook on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by De Matos. De Matos obviously looking to wear him down.

De Matos works Krook's body with a nice hook.
Krook fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. De Matos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
De Matos throws a leg kick which misses Krook's front leg but catches the back leg as Krook tries to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krook lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Krook chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before De Matos can pounce on him.

De Matos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krook was well out of range. Poor timing from De Matos.
De Matos looks to score with a jab to the body but Krook is just out of range.
De Matos scores with a one two! Krook had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Kalle Krook has been cut.
De Matos connects with a body shot.
De Matos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krook doesn't seem bothered though.
Krook looks winded!
De Matos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

De Matos connects with a solid leg kick.
De Matos connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
De Matos lands with a hook. Krook tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
De Matos throws a right hand that Krook ducks under and follows up with a left that Krook also avoids with ease.
De Matos lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Krook at a distance.
De Matos throws a big shot that misses.
Krook looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

De Matos throws a shot to the body.
De Matos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Krook's head backwards.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts De Matos, as that shot connected.
Krook throws a solid leg kick but De Matos takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Krook.
De Matos keeps Krook at a distance using the push kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by De Matos. That's going to slow Krook down.
Krook looks up at the clock. Bad move! De Matos lands a right hand from hell, dropping Krook. De Matos pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moacyr Domingos De Matos!
A relieved looking Moacyr Domingos De Matos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
