Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Walken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norber Du Flan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christopher Walken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norber Du Flan!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Walken.

Walken rushes Du Flan and presses him up against the cage.
Du Flan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Walken walks away with a smile on his face. Du Flan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Walken scores with a three punch combo!

Walken drops Du Flan with a left right combo! Walken follows him down to the ground into side control.


Du Flan is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Du Flan tries to bench press Walken off him but Walken keeps the position.
Du Flan is still in real trouble! Can Walken finish him?
Du Flan seems to have recovered his senses.
Du Flan can't do much from the bottom here.

You can see the frustration on Du Flan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Du Flan sneaks back into half guard.
Walken takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Walken has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Du Flan moves into range and clinches up with Walken.
Walken avoids a wild elbow strike from Du Flan.
Du Flan trying to stall but Walken improves his position.

Du Flan is trying to break the clinch but Walken has him pressed against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Du Flan wants to control from the top but Walken keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Walken's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Walken takes the fight into the clinch.

Walken drags the fight down to the ground.
Du Flan is working Walken over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Du Flan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Du Flan wants to get up but he can't break Walken's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Du Flan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Du Flan trying to control the position from guard on top but Walken is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Norber Du Flan was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Walken tries to score a body lock takedown but Du Flan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Du Flan throws an elbow that misses.

Du Flan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Walken avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Du Flan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Walken avoids it.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Du Flan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Walken is trying to push Du Flan away but Du Flan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Du Flan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Walken pulls his leg out and moves away.
Walken shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Du Flan but Du Flan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Du Flan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Du Flan wants to take the fight to the mat but Walken manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Walken digs a right hand into Du Flan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Du Flan's gas tank.

Norber Du Flan seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Du Flan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Walken gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Du Flan looking for a guillotine here but Walken defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Norber Du Flan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Du Flan shoots in and drives through. Walken sprawls well.
Walken lands an overhand right.

Du Flan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Walken keeps working.
You can see the frustration on Walken's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Du Flan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walken is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Walken is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Du Flan is looking to take a break and control but Walken is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Du Flan scores with a couple of short elbows.

Walken is looking for a sweep.
Du Flan trying to control the position but Walken is working away.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Norber Du Flan.
Nice uppercut lands for Walken. That snapped Du Flan's head back.
Walken stalks Du Flan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Du Flan's face. Du Flan staggers backwards, shaken.

Du Flan shoots in looking for a takedown but Walken manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Du Flan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Du Flan has Walken pressed against the cage, preventing Walken from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Du Flan shoots in for a double leg but Walken sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Walken tries to break the clinch but Du Flan is controlling the position.
Du Flan goes for a takedown attempt but Walken pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Christopher Walken.
I think Walken has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
