Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaimaa Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatu comes to the cage accompanied by So Close Now. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith cracks Fatu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fatu misses with a head kick.
Smith slips under a jab from Fatu.
Fatu takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Smith is looking to slow Fatu down with leg kicks.
Smith thows a body shot but no joy.
Fatu swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fatu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Smith darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Vaimaa Fatu has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fatu walks into a jab.
Smith connects with a body shot that sends Fatu's belly button to the back.

Smith moves out of range of the leg kick from Fatu.

Smith punishes Fatu's body with a nice straight punch.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.
Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fatu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Tim Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Smith avoids a kick to the body.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fatu tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Smith is able to avoid easily.

Smith closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smith lands a hook to the side of the head.

Smith is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fatu pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Fatu turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fatu manages to end up in side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Smith is not content to let Fatu control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fatu manages to get himself to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith avoids the head kick by Fatu.
Fatu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Smith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick.
Smith lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Fatu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Smith lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fatu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fatu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Vaimaa Fatu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Fatu moved out of range nicely.

Fatu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fatu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vaimaa Fatu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
